<p><strong>R&eacute;sum&eacute; :</strong></p> <p>Le fran&ccedil;ais est la langue officielle de Mayotte, &icirc;le de l&rsquo;oc&eacute;an Indien faisant partie de l&rsquo;Archipel des Comores et cent-uni&egrave;me d&eacute;partement fran&ccedil;ais ou cinqui&egrave;me d&eacute;partement d&rsquo;Outre-Mer. Pour autant, le fran&ccedil;ais n&rsquo;est pas la langue de communication des Mahorais qui poss&egrave;dent une langue vernaculaire et ce n&rsquo;est pas non plus toujours l&rsquo;alphabet latin qui est leur alphabet de r&eacute;f&eacute;rence, sinon l&rsquo;alphabet arabe appris &agrave; l&rsquo;&eacute;cole coranique. D&egrave;s lors, comment enseigner le fran&ccedil;ais dans ce contexte particulier bross&eacute; ici &agrave; grands traits&nbsp;? Le pr&eacute;sent article propose, &agrave; la suite de Madalena de Carlo une didactique de l&rsquo;interculturel qui se fonde sur les textes francophones des &eacute;crivains de l&rsquo;&icirc;le. Il s&rsquo;agit donc de mettre en valeur des textes en fran&ccedil;ais qui donnent une image de la France afin d&rsquo;interroger les &eacute;l&egrave;ves sur leurs repr&eacute;sentations de la France, de la francit&eacute; et de la langue fran&ccedil;aise qui rel&egrave;ve, d&rsquo;un point de vue didactique, de la langue seconde &ndash; voire troisi&egrave;me &ndash; sinon de la langue &eacute;trang&egrave;re.</p> <p><strong>Abstract :</strong></p> <p>French is the official language of Mayotte, an island in the Indian Ocean that is part of the Comoros Archipelago and the hundred and first French department or fifth overseas department. However, French is not the language of communication of the Mahorais, who have a vernacular language, nor is it always the Latin alphabet that is their reference alphabet, other than the Arabic alphabet learned at the Koranic school. So how can French be taught in this particular context outlined here? The present article proposes, following Madalena de Carlo, a didactic of the intercultural which is based on the French-speaking texts of the island&#39;s writers.
