<p><span lang="FR" style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="line-height:107%"><span new="" roman="" style="font-family:" times=""><span style="color:#333333">R&eacute;sum&eacute; :</span></span></span></span><span lang="FR" style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="line-height:107%"><span new="" roman="" style="font-family:" times=""><span style="color:#333333"> Cet article traite du statut scolaire du fran&ccedil;ais au Maroc et pr&eacute;sente la situation paradoxale de cette langue en rapport avec l&rsquo;usage de l&rsquo;alternance codique (d&eacute;sormais AC) arabe/fran&ccedil;ais par les enseignants. Ainsi, loin des pr&eacute;jug&eacute;s relatifs &agrave; l&rsquo;AC per&ccedil;ue g&eacute;n&eacute;ralement comme une mauvaise herbe &agrave; extirper, notamment en classe de langue, le pr&eacute;sent article discute le point de vue des sp&eacute;cialistes qui ont entrepris ce ph&eacute;nom&egrave;ne dans le contexte &eacute;ducatif. En effet, &agrave; partir de l&rsquo;analyse de notre corpus et les r&eacute;sultats de ces recherches, nous pr&eacute;sentons ses diff&eacute;rents aspects didactiques et communicatifs, son r&ocirc;le en classe de langue et les attitudes &agrave; apprendre de la part des principaux acteurs &eacute;ducatifs, en l&rsquo;occurrence les apprenants et les enseignants.</span></span></span></span></p> <p>Abstract : This article deals with the school status of French in Morocco and presents the paradoxical situation of this language in relation to the use of alternating Arabic/French coding (now AC) by teachers. Thus, far from the prejudices related to AC generally perceived as a weed to be eradicated, especially in language class, this article discusses the point of view of specialists who have undertaken this phenomenon in the educational context. Indeed, based on the analysis of our corpus and the results of this research, we present its various didactic and communicative aspects, its role in language classrooms and the attitudes to be learned from the main educational actors, in this case learners and teachers.</p>
