Despite a low overall unemployment rate, this problem persists, especially for marginalized people. Regional Caritas organizations have mobilized to create the association “Cantons zéro chômeur de très longue durée” and have collaborated with two Universities of Applied Sciences of Western Switzerland to develop a project combining social work and artificial intelligence. It is characterized by a multidisciplinary approach between social work and computer science. The project is part of a general theory of social innovation, which aims to establish a connection between the stigmatized human and the intelligent machine.
