<p>Cet article propose une exploration des collections d’archives sonores et radiophoniques françaises. Omniprésente, la langue française est bien plus bavarde que les autres langues de France. Ces dernières ont néanmoins gravé leurs sillons depuis les collectes des folkloristes au tournant du XX<sup>e</sup> siècle, jusqu’aux archives des radios locales, qu’elles soient publiques ou associatives. Les archives sonores de langue bretonne seront données en exemple d’une ressource orale historique incontournable pour l’étude de l’histoire populaire de la France. </p>

<p><strong>Abstract</strong></p>

<p>This paper offers an exploration of French sound and radio archive collections. Omnipresent, the French language is much more talkative than the other languages of France. The other languages were nevertheless recorded by the folkorists at the turn of the 20th century, or the local radios, whether public or associative. The Breton language sound archives will be given as an example of an essential historical oral resource for the study of the popular history of France.</p>
