<p>Cette contribution vise à présenter les deux îlots francoprovençaux des Pouilles comme un exemple d’environnement propice à l’apprentissage du français langue étrangère. Dans cette perspective, nous mettrons en lumière les conditions physiques, sociales, psychologiques et linguistiques qui font de Faeto et Celle di San Vito un contexte favorable à l’apprentissage de la langue hexagonale. Ce discours acquiert plus de force s’il est encadré dans le macro contexte italien dans lequel le français a déjà sa place et, plus encore, dans le projet européen plurilingue.</p>

<p><strong>Abstract :</strong> This contribution aims to present the two Francoprovençal islets of Puglia as an example of an environment conducive to learning French as a foreign language. In this perspective, we will highlight the physical, social, psychological and linguistic conditions that make Faeto and Celle di San Vito a favorable context for learning the language of the Hexagon. This discourse acquires even more strength if, extended to the macro context, it is placed within the Italian context in which French already has its role and, even more so, within the plurilingual European project.</p>
