<p>Cet article présente quelques résultats d’une recherche exploratoire réalisée dans notre thèse afin d’identifier et d’étudier des effets de <em>translanguaging</em> et de <em>transculturing</em> chez les étudiants sri lankais par une approche multimodale et longitudinale. Le terme <em>translanguaging</em> signifie ici que des interlocuteurs peuvent passer d'une langue une autre à l'aide de leur compréhension dans l'une et de leur expression dans une autre. Le <em>transculturing</em> concerne le comportement transculturel des individus. Cette recherche se focalise sur les comportements transculturels (<em>transculturing</em>) de ces étudiants qui expliqueraient les productions translangagières (<em>translanguaging</em>).</p>

<p>This article presents some results of a research carried out in our thesis in order to identify and study the effects of translanguaging and transculturing with Sri Lankan students through a multimodal and longitudinal approach. The term translanguaging here means that interlocutors can switch from one language to another with the help of their understanding in one and their expression in another. Transculturing is about the transcultural behaviour of individuals. This research focuses on the transcultural behaviours of these students that would explain translanguaging.</p>
