<p><strong>R&eacute;sum&eacute; :</strong></p> <p>L&rsquo;interdisciplinarit&eacute; est un sujet fr&eacute;quent mais difficile : souvent invoqu&eacute;e, elle est plus rarement rencontr&eacute;e. Mais c&rsquo;est sans doute parce qu&rsquo;elle n&rsquo;est pas si simple &agrave; caract&eacute;riser. Cet article pr&eacute;sente une approche de l&rsquo;interdisciplinarit&eacute; comme une r&eacute;ussite disciplinaire : une discipline scientifique doit constamment se d&eacute;passer &agrave; approfondissant des questions et principes &eacute;pist&eacute;mologiques qu&rsquo;elle peut partager avec d&rsquo;autres, en se confrontant &agrave; des objets du r&eacute;el convoquant &eacute;galement d&rsquo;autres approches, ou encore en internalisant en leur sein des concepts emprunt&eacute;s &agrave; d&rsquo;autres th&eacute;ories. Il y a donc plusieurs mani&egrave;res d&rsquo;aborder l&rsquo;interdisciplinarit&eacute; et de la r&eacute;ussir. Elle peut enfin parfois inaugurer une nouvelle approche, une nouvelle discipline, comme la geste de la cybern&eacute;tique l&rsquo;a illustr&eacute; dans un pass&eacute; r&eacute;cent.</p> <p>Mots-cl&eacute;s :&nbsp;Epist&eacute;mologie, disciplinaire, interdisciplinaire, th&eacute;orie.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Abstract</strong> :</p> <p>Interdisciplinarity is a frequently asked question but difficult to treat. A possible explanation may be it is not that easy to define. This paper proposes an approach according to which intersciplinarity can be viewed as an internal modality of the disciplinary work. Indeed, a scientific discipline should ever and ever transgress its own limits in order to go further into epistemological issues that may be shared by others disciplines ; a discipline should face real objects that are also considered by other approaches ; finally, a discipline should often translate in its own rationality concepts borrowed from other points of view. As a consequence, there are several manners to perform interdisciplinarity. Sometimes this turns into the emergence of new disciplines, as, for example, it was the case in the context of cybernetics.</p> <p>Keywords :&nbsp;Epistemology, disciplinary, interdisciplinary, theory.</p>
